Town of Cheshire is seeking competitive proposals for the Replacement of the Town Hall Roof The Town of Cheshire reserves the rights to amend or terminate this Request for Proposals, accept all or any part of a proposal, reject all proposals, waive any informalities or non-material deficiencies in a proposal, and award the proposal to the proposer that, in the Town's sole discretion and judgment, will be in the Town's best interests Work in this contract is comprised ofbut not limited to the installation of a Certainteed Integrity Shingle .Roofwith a SureStart Plus Warranty including 5 star protection. { +/-18,500 sq ft.} on the Cheshire Town Hall. Work includes: - Removal of an existing single layer of architectural shingles, drip and rake edge, all step flashing and any damaged or compromised counter flashing. -Location and replacement of 400 sq ft ofplywood sheathing. - New custom fabricated .032 white drip and rake edge. - Removal and replacement of siding on steeple. - Leave existing copper gutters in service, with location and replacement of 30 weakened, loose or broken gutter brackets and 50 lineal feet of loose, damaged or broken leader pipes. -Shingle color to be determined by Cheshire DPW
