Project Description Full renovation of approximately 500 square feet of existing space in the Champions Center Weight Room to include a walk-up fueling station for the department of CU athletics. This project includes all new finishes, MEP modifications, etc. per the drawings and specifications. Scope of Services Contractor understands work will take place in an operational athletics facility with existing high end finishes. Contractor shall provide all material, labor, and equipment necessary to cleanly delineate work area from operational weight room and facility space to be protected during construction. Contractor shall build a rigid temporary wall to separate weight room from fuel bar work area (OFOI graphics to be installed on temp wall during construction). The Bid Doc Set will be sent out no later than Wednesday, September 7th, 2022 EOD. Minimum Requirements Notice is hereby given to all interested parties that all firms will be required to meet all minimum requirements to be considered for this project. To be considered as qualified, interested firms shall have, as a minimum: 1. Provided General Contracting services within the last three (5) years for at least two (2) projects each in excess of $ 500,000.00 (hard costs), in higher education utilizing the expertise present in their Colorado Office; and 2. Demonstrated specific General Contracting experience in projects of similar scope and complexity in sports/recreational facilities; and 3. Demonstrated bonding capability up to $ 1,000,000.00 for an individual project coincidentally with current and anticipated workloads; provide letter from surety that affirms this capacity.
