Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Louisburg, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Franklin County, NC is requesting qualifications (RFQ) from professional engineering firms to assist Franklin County in the design, permitting and construction management for a new elevated water storage tank, and raising of the existing US1 elevated tank to the same elevation. The funding for this project is Federal Funding from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and the contracting of an engineering firm must follow the Franklin County Uniform Guidance Procurement Policy (attached). All prospective bidders must acknowledge that the funding is contingent upon compliance with all terms and conditions of the ARPA funding. All prospective bidders must comply with all applicable federal laws, regulations, executive orders and terms and conditions of the ARPA funding. Submit all questions regarding this Request for Qualifications in writing to the Contact Person. There will be no pre-submittal conference. A 5% bid bond is required of all bidders. Performance and payment bonds of 100% of the contract price is required of the winning bidder. County may reject any or all proposals and may waive any immaterial deviation in a proposal as may be allowable in accordance with applicable law. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time
