The Town of New Milford is soliciting competitive bids from qualified firms for removal and disposal of PCB remediation waste. The Town reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids in part or in whole. The Town of New Milford is requesting proposals from qualified professional firms licensed in the State of Connecticut to provide hazardous and/or contaminated materials removal for the Town. The Century Enterprise Center property (CEC) consists of approximately 72 acres and is owned by the Town of New Milford. Following closure and remedial activities, redevelopment of the property is planned for the beneficial use of the Town of New Milford as a public works complex. As part of the environmental investigation and cleanup of the property portions of the former building concrete slab and "sand pits" were removed in 2018. However, two piles of material remain from this activity and are the subject of this solicitation.
