Site work for a religious / funeral development in Brownstown, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a religious / funeral development.
The Town of Brownstown desires to expand the existing Fairview Cemetery on the northeast side of the Town of Brownstown. The Contractor shall perform everything required to be performed and shall provide and furnish all of the labor, necessary tools, incidentals, equipment, materials, utilities and transportation services to complete the work shown in the plans for the FAIRVIEW CEMETERY EXPANSION, prepared by Independent Land Surveying, Inc. and to be completed at the cemetery, including all incidental and appurtenant work. Bidders shall carefully examine the site and become familiar with the condition under which they will have to execute the work required for this project. Failure to do so will in no way relieve the bidder of their responsibility under the contract. The act of submitting a bid is to be considered full acknowledgement that the bidder has inspected the site and reviewed the plans to ensure that they are aware of the site conditions and work to be completed. This project shall be paid on a lump sum basis, which shall include furnishing all necessary LEGALS personnel, equipment and supplies to accomplish the work. The contractor shall provide the liquid asphalt cost used in the bid on the bid form. The successful bidder shall notify the owner of any costs increases due to an increase in the price of liquid asphalt prior to the commencement of work. Failure to notify the owner of any increases prior to the commencement of work will relieve the owner for being responsible for any additional costs due to an increase in liquid asphalt costs. The Town of Brownstown reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive technicalities or to accept any bid which, in its judgment, will be in the best interest of the Town of Brownstown. Bidding Documents are available as portable document format (PDF) files from the Town of Brownstown. Alternatively, printed Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., via in-person pick-up upon Issuing Office's receipt of payment for the Bidding Documents. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the prospective Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office.
