QUESTIONS OR CLARIFICATIONS RELATED TO THIS BID MUST BE SUBMITTED IN WRITING BY FRIDAY, OCTOBER 7TH. RESPONSES WILL BE PROVIDED BY TUESDAY, OCTOBER 11 TH. QUESTIONS MAY BE DIRECTED TO MR. ANDY BOWKER, BUILDING OFFICIAL AT SOWENS@CITYOFDICKSON.COM. THE CITY OF DICKSON SHALL HAVE THE RIGHT TO REJECT ANY OR ALL BIDS. 2. PROJECT ADDRESS IS 115 TENNSCO DRIVE, DICKSON, TN 37055. 3. CONTRACTOR TO COMPLETE AND SIGN ALL PRE-BID FORMS INCLUDED IN THIS PACKAGE. THE AGREEMENT, NOTICE OF AWARD, AND NOTICE TO PROCEED SHALL REMAIN BLANK UNTIL BID IS ACCEPTED AND CONTRACTOR IS SELECTED BY THE OWNER. 4. CONTRACTOR TO PROVIDE BRIEF SCOPE OF WORK WITH SUBMITTED BID. SCOPE TO INCLUDE GENERAL OVERVIEW OF CONSTRUCTION MEANS AND METHODS THEY INTEND TO USE FOR THE PROJECT, ROOFING SYSTEM MANUFACTURER TO BE USED WITH WARRANTY PROVIDED, AND ESTIMATED TIMEFRAME TO COMPLETE PROJECT. 5. PRICING FOR ABOVE DESCRIPTIONS IS TO INCLUDE ANY AND ALL LABOR, OVERHEAD, MATERIALS, AND ANY OTHER ITEMS NECESSARY TO COMPLETE THE SPECIFIED TASK. 6. CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBLE FOR CONDUCTING SITE VISIT TO EXAMINE EXISTING CONDITIONS OF ROOF, PARAPET WALLS, AND OTHER ITEMS TO REMAIN. ANY REPAIRS DEEMED NECESSARY BY THE CONTRACTOR TO THESE ITEMS TO BE INCLUDED IN THE PRICE OF OTHER ITEMS. 7. CONTRACTOR TO INCLUDE THE PRICING FOR CLEAN-UP, HAULING, AND DESPOSAL OF WASTE MATERIAL AT A STATE OF TENNESSE APPROVED SOLID WASTE DISPOSAL FACILITY IN THE BID PRICE OF OTHER ITEMS. 8. ALL INSTALLATION AND CONSTRUCTION TO BE COMPLETED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ROOFING MANUFACTURER'S SPECIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS. 9. ALL MEASUREMENTS AND QUANTITIES ARE APPROXIMATE. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONTRACTOR TO VERIFY MEASUREMENTS FOR THE PREPARATION OF THEIR BID. 10. CONTRACTOR TO PROVIDE MINIMUM OF A 30 YEAR WARRANTY ON TPO ROOFING SYSTEM PROPOSED. 11. SEE PROJECT SKETCH FOR ADDITIONAL NOTES AND INFORMATION. 12. ABOVE ITEMS ARE NOT CONSIDERED TO BE ALL INCLUSIVE. CONTRACTOR TO INCLUDE ANY AND ALL ADDITIONAL WORK AND MATERIALS THEY DEEM NECESSARY TO PROVIDE WATER TIGHT ROOF AND STRUCTURE. COST TO BE INCLUDED IN THE BID COST OF OTHER ITEMS. 13. FRAMING FOR BID ITEM 6 ABOVE TO CONSIST OF 2"X6" TREATED LUMBER COVERED WITH 5/8" PLYWOOD SHEATHING. PRICE IS FOR EACH CRICKET. 14. ROOFING SCOPE AND SPECIFICATIONS PROVIDED HEREIN PROVIDED BY TENNSCO MAINTENANCE PROJECT MANAGER TO THE CITY OF DICKSON. CITY OF DICKSON NOT REPSONSIBLE FOR ACCURACY, SCOPE, OR CONSTRUCTABILITY OF PROPOSED ROOFING PROJECT. 15. PROJECT MUST BE COMPLETED WITHIN A SET TIMEFRAME IN NOVEMBER, CONSISTING OF THE DATES FROM NOVEMBER 9, 2022 TO NOVEMBER 20, 2022. BY SUBMITTING A BID, CONTRACTOR AGREES TO MEET THIS REQUIREMENT AS WILL BE SPECIFIED IN THE NOTICE TO PROCEED
