As a condition for the award of any contract in excess of five thousand dollars ($5,000) the bidders shall supply with their bid a sworn affidavit and documentation affirming its enrollment and participation in a federal work authorization program with respect to the employees working in connection with the contracted services. Bidder shall also supply a signed affidavit affirming that it does not knowingly employ any person who as an unauthorized alien in connection with the contracted services. If this contract involves the construction, reconstruction, demolition, painting, or major repair of any facility of the City, Bidder shall provide a ten (10) hour Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) construction safety program for their on-site employees within 60 Days of award of the contract. Failure to provide training and maintain documentation of the training, may result in penalties under RSMO 292.675. Minimum wage rates for any contract in excess of $75,000 shall be prevailing wage rates as determined by the Industrial Commission of Missouri. The wage rates are set forth in the contract documents, and are to be considered as a part of this Invitation to Bid. The contract, if awarded, will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder complying with the Conditions of the Contract Documents within the Owner's budget. The Bidder to whom the awards are made will be notified at the earliest possible date. The Owner; however, reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and to waive any informality in Bids received whenever such rejection or waiver is in his interest.
