The City of Bevier is requesting qualifications for the construction design and inspection services to assist in a project to be partially financed with Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds. The remainder of the project is being financed by the City of Bevier. The project consists of the construction of a new drainage system ir an area with poor drainage conditions so that thio area will no longer be negatively affected by heavy rainfall. Information provided to the City of Bevier must include: 1) The specialized experience and technical com petence of the firm with respect to drainage improvements; 2) The capacity and capability of the firm to perform the work in question, including specialized services, within a period of two months beginning September 2022, as funding has been awarded; 3) The past record of performance of the firm with respect to such factors as control of costs, quality of work, and ability to meet schedules; 4) References from previous clients of related work with the firm within the past five years. 5) Documentation of compliance with E-Verify requirements. 6) Signed Conflict of Interest form attached to this RFQ. The Preliminary Engineering Report was developed by Rhodes Engineering Company, Inc. who is familiar with the area and knowledgeable of the project. The firm will be selected based on the above qualifications. Once the most qualified firm is selected, a cost of construction design and inspection will be negotiated.
