The Metropolitan Water District of Southern California hereby invites sealed bids for the San Diego Pipeline No. 1 Rainbow Tunnel Concrete Liner Rehabilitation located in San Diego County, CA in accordance with Specifications No. 2038. Project description. The work consists of localized concrete tunnel liner repairs at 10 locations within the San Diego Pipeline No. 1 Rainbow Tunnel including grout curtain wall injection, surface preparation, temporary ventilation, concrete removal and replacement, and all other appurtenant work as specified and shown on the drawings. Estimated cost of contract. Metropolitan expects the total cost of construction to range between $700,000 and $1,000,000. This estimate is intended to serve merely as a guideline of the magnitude of work.
