Renovation of a water / sewer project in Knoxville, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Q & A deadline: August 31, 2022 at 2:00 PM EST. KUB is requesting a contractor to blast and paint various sections of piping and concrete walls at Fourth Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant. Contractor is responsible for all containment and disposal of blast material (including lead based paint). Piping shall be coated with approved product by KUB with the color as dictated in specification below This specification covers preparation of surfaces, performance and completion of painting of all surfaces as required by the drawings and as specified herein. Surfaces to be painted have been tested for lead, see appendix for results and remediation requirements. B. All Materials delivered to job site shall be in original sealed and labeled containers of the paint manufacture.
