As of December 1, 2022, a design engineer has been selected. Bidding is anticipated to take place in the middle of October of 2023 and construction to start in 2024 and finish in 2026. *The previous solicitation is listed below for reference After an evaluation and selection process the results will be presented to the County Commission on Monday, October 17, 2022, beginning approximately at 5:00 PM (Local Time), in the Tom Baker room of the City/County building for their approval. The project will include Phase 1 planning and design work for the 66th Street NE Project (from County Highway 10 to 43rd Ave NE including an interchange with I-94). Work will include, Hydrologic Analysis and Design, Ground Survey and Control, Traffic Operations Report, Wetland Delineation Report, Pavement Design, Geotechnical Evaluation and Report, Cultural Review and Reports, Noise Analysis and the Interchange Justification Report. Selection will be on the basis of the following criteria: 1) Recent, current, and projected workloads of firm's staff 2) Staff experience and technical capabilities 3) Related experience and performance on similar projects 4) Willingness to meet time and budgetary requirements Proposals should be limited to 7 (seven) pages; additional information may be placed in Appendixes. Consulting firm should also include a copy of their 2022 fee schedule. Fee schedule will not be used in the basis of selection. The County may choose to interview some or all of the proposing firms. If interviews are conducted they will be held on September, 21st and 22nd, 2022. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all proposals; to waive technicalities or to accept such as may be determined to be in the best interest of the County. DISCLOSURE OF PROPOSAL: The contents of all proposals will be subject to the Open Records Law and may be open to inspection by interested parties. Any information included in the proposal that the proposing party believes to be a trade secret or proprietary information must be clearly identified in the proposal.
