Site work for a water / sewer project in South Hill, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The principal work to be performed under this contract consists of, but not limited to improvement of the following: Design and erect a 500,000-gallon multi-leg steel elevated potable water storage tank including the installation of reservoir hydrodynamic mixing system. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on the lump sum basis, as indicated in the Bid Form. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is B & B Consultants, Inc., 212 East Ferrell Street, South Hill, VA 23970. The contact person is Brittany Garnett, 434-447-7621, bgarnett@bandbcons.com. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:15 am -5:00 pm The date that the Issuing Office transmit the Bidding Documents will be considered the prospective Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Authority nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions for Bidders. A performance bond and payment bond, each in the amount of one hundred (100) percent of the Contract Price, with a corporate surety approved by the Owner, will be required for the faithful performance of the contract. Evidence of proper registration with the Virginia State Registration Board of Contractors, pursuant to Chapter 7 of Title 54 of the Code of Virginia, must be submitted with each bid
