The work includes a new unsignalized Reduced Conflict U-turn (RCUT) with a 430 ft left turn lane and U-turn apron to accommodate westbound U-turning movements. At the Minnesota Avenue - SR 472 intersection, a raised directional median is proposed that will include median widening, milling & resurfacing the travel lanes, turn lanes, and a new 410 ft Northbound right turn lane onto Minnesota Avenue. Additionally, the project includes minor drainage improvements and signing and pavement markings. Prequalification per Rule 14-22 is not required. All Sublet work must be contracted to a small business or businesses as defined by the Department.
