Renovation of a municipal facility in Plano, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

Description: Purchase and delivery of metal locking tamper proof doors to fit light pole transformer bases. Bid Question Deadline Submit Questions via www.nttamarketplace.org September 14, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. CT. Tamper proof locking doors shall be Copper Lock Doors manufactured by Copper Protection of an approved equal. Each door shall be made of solid aluminum with an integrated locking mechanism. Doors shall tightly fit opening. Keys for the doors shall not be conventionally duplicated and shall be available for purchase from the manufacturer only. Each order must include four (4) keys and the option for NTTA to purchase additional as needed. Vendors submitting an equivalent product to the Copper Protection branded product must meet all of the following technical requirements and include documentation with bid sufficient to support the claim that the product is equivalent to the Copper Protection product. Technical Specifications The metallic tamper proof locking doors must be made of solid aluminum. The metallic tamper proof locking doors must be Hot-Dip galvanized to prevent corrosion. The metallic tamper proof locking door locking bolt must be: 1. Stainless steel with a proprietary keyway pattern 2. The stainless-steel bolt must be 3/8-16 X 1" made of 316 stainless steel with a torque rating of 10 foot/pounds to 24 foot /pounds. 3. The stainless-steel bolt must be engineered with a locking pattern on the bottom of the bolt head to securely lock the bolt into place. 4. Lock washers must not be used for the purpose of locking/securing the door. 5. A Raptor Claw Screw will meet the above requirements or an approved equal. The metallic tamper proof locking doors must fit, but not limited to, TBI-17, TBI-17 MODIFIED, TB2-17, and TB3-17 light pole transformer bases. The transformer base must not be modified in any way to except the metallic tamper proof locking door. The tamper proof locking key and the tamper proof locking bolt pattern must be proprietary for only the NTTA metallic tamper proof locking doors. Bid pricing must include all costs associated with delivery to the following NTTA locations.
