The Borough of Beachwood, New Jersey ("Borough") invites interested vendors to submit sealed bid proposals for a long-term lease of the Borough's Landfill ("Beachwood Landfill" or "Site") for the development and maintenance of a Solar Photovoltaic Energy System ("Solar System''). The Borough shall not be responsible for the loss, non-delivery or physical condition of proposals sent by mail or courier service. Proposals must be submitted individually in a sealed envelope clearly marked SOLAR LEASE BID, on the outside of the envelope and be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check made payable to the Borough of Beachwood, without condition, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid, but not to exceed $20,000.00. Late submissions will not be accepted. The Borough assumes no responsibility for delays in any form of carrier or delivery service causing the proposal to be received after the above-referenced due date and time. Submissions by fax, e-mail or telephone are not permitted. All proposers shall conform to the intention and provisions of affirmative action in Public Contracts Laws of the State of New Jersey, R.S. 10:2-1 of 7/23/75, Assembly Bill No. 2227.Proposers are required to comply with requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et. Seq. andN.J.A.C. 17:27. Council reserves the right to reject any and all proposals should it be in the interest of the City to do so and to waive any informalities in the proposals.
