The Alabama Space Science Exhibit Commission DBA U.S. Space & Rocket Center seeks sealed bids for the Complete Audio Video system (hereafter referred to as AV Systems) for the New Space Camp Operations Building. The complete AV System for each area is comprised of several independent subsystems, and includes, but not limited to the following areas: Classroom displays and video input devices, IP-based audio and video distribution, control systems with touchscreens and ceiling speakers. Exterior and interior front-serviceable LED videowall displays. Auditorium AV system with combinable expansion rooms that can operate together or independently, sound system, PTZ video cameras and control booth. DSP processing, amplification, control processors and AV patch panels located in control booth. All audio transport to be via AES67/Dante. Building-wide video-over-IP system allowing any video source to be virtually patch to any display. Cables, connectors, wall plates, and other hardware and accessories, as required, to furnish a complete working system. Conduits are not provided for any in-ceiling or above ceiling AV equipment. Conduits are not provided for touch-screen locations. Conduits are not provided for any of the auditorium, seminar 115, seminar 113 or AV booth equipment. All AV-related cabling and pathways to support the AV system is the responsibility of the AV Installer. Additional documentation that are required to accompany the bid will be listed in the Drawings and Specifications packet. All bidders bidding in amounts exceeding that established by the State Licensing Board for General Contractors must be licensed under the provisions of Title 34, Chapter 8, Code of Alabama, 1975, and must show evidence of license before bidding or bid will not be received or considered by the Owner. The bidder shall show such evidence by clearly displaying his or her current license number on the outside of the sealed envelope in which the proposal is delivered. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technical errors if, in the Owners judgement, the best interests of the Owner will thereby be promoted.
