Site work and paving for a road / highway in South Holland, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
As of November 2, 2023, per owner, a design team and general contractor have been identified. Project is substantially complete as of Summer 2023. The Village of South Holland is requesting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from IDOT-prequalified engineering firms for Phase III - Construction Engineering Services for the State Street (FAU 2906) Roadway Resurfacing in South Holland, IL. This project is being federally funded, and therefore, consultant selection will be in accordance with the Qualification Based Selection (QBS) guidelines in the Brooks Act (40 USC 11) and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) requirements for Procurement, Management, and Administration of Engineering and Design Related Services (23 CFR 172). Consultant interviews will not be conducted. Consultants will be evaluated in the following areas: 1. Firm's Experience; 2. Team's Experience and Qualifications, including Subconsultants; 3. Key Personnel Expertise/Past Performance, including Subconsultants; 4. Technical Approach to Project and 5. Local Presence. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
