Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Watertown, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the construction of a residential development; for site work for a residential development; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

As of Oct 7 the project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established . Per addendum 3 bid date extended to 10/5/22 Bids will be received for furnishing all labor, materials, tools, services and equipment necessary to complete the "Haystack Woods Homeownership Infrastructure Project". The project scope includes construction of a public street and associated site work and utilities for a new homeownership project in the Town of Norfolk. Proposed forms of Contract Documents, including Plans and Specifications will be on file at the Norfolk Town Hall, Norfolk, CT and available to contractors for viewing upon request. Note: Addenda to this bid will be issued via email. Contractors intending to bid must be registered on the Advanced Reprographics Planholder's list in order to receive direct email of any and all addenda. No interpretation of the meaning of the plans, specifications or other pre-bid documents will be made to any bidder orally. Every request for such interpretation should be in writing addressed to: Carol Oliwa, coliwa@housingenterprises.com. To be given consideration, RFI's must be received by 4:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 20, 2022. Any and all such interpretations and any supplemental instruction will be in the form of written addenda to the specifications which, if issued, will be forwarded by electronic mail to all prospective bidders (at the respective email addresses furnished for such purposes), not later than Friday, September 23, 2022. Attention of bidders is directed to certain requirements of this contract which require payment of prevailing wages, and compliance with certain local and state requirements. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for 100% Performance and Payment Bond or Bonds, in the forms included in the Specifications. All bonds must be from sureties listed on the most recent IRS Circular 570. No bids shall be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days after the opening of bids, without the consent of the Town of Norfolk. The Town of Norfolk reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids; to waive any informality; or to accept any bid deemed in the best interests of the Town of Norfolk.
