The City of Panama City Beach is requesting sealed Bids to furnish one (1) vertical single-stage solids handling pump, five (5) submersible pumps, one (1) submersible mixer and miscellaneous appurtenances for the Utilities Department. The equipment used shall be new, of current manufacture, and must meet all State and Federal Safety Standards in effect at the time of delivery. Any items appearing in the manufacturers regular published specifications furnished by the bidder are assumed to be included in the Bid Proposal. Any deletions or variations from manufacturers regular published specifications must be outlined in an attached letter. Deviations from these specifications which do not impair comparative functional equivalency will be accepted for review. The bid must conform to Section 287.133(3) Florida Statutes, with respect to Public Entity Crimes. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids (in whole or in part) and to waive technicalities, irregularities, or informalities. All Bids shall be firm (including all equipment and labor) and fixed for a period of 60 days after opening. BIDDERS must submit all questions, if any, in writing at least seven (7) days prior to the BID date. If necessary, questions will be answered as ADDENDA and will be issued to the Contract Documents and posted on the Citys website. It is the sole responsibility of the bidder to determine if any addenda have been issued. The due date for questions will be by the close of business on Thursday, September 15, 2022.
