Saving Project...

Renovation of an educational facility in Columbia, Missouri. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

The scope of work for the Resurfacing of Gym Floors at identified buildings is turn-key and shall include but not limited to the following: Provide equipment, cleaning material, gym finish and labor to top scrub, clean, and re-finish all wood gym floors. A. Product: Vendor will provide Rebounder oil based 350 finish or equal for all gyms except John Warner which is water based. Determination of water base product will be determined during Pre-Bid and will require 2 coats. B. Preparation: District will prep all gym floors prior to include, dust moping, vacuuming edges, removal of any tape, gum, or other debris. District will attempt to remove any tape residue left over by pulling up tape if present on wood flooring. C. Scrubbing: Floor will be wet scrubbed with wood gym floor pads, screens, and equipment D. Rinsing: Floor will be cleaned and allowed to completely dry prior to application of finish. Floor must be uniformly clean, mark free, and free of any debris and residue. E. Finish Preparation: Vendor will be responsible for taping all metal floor plates. Vendor will tack floor with waterless cleaner prior to application of finish to ensure floor is clean of any dust or debris. F. All volleyball standard mounts and scoreboard standard covers must be taped off with painters tape prior to application of finish. Columbia Public Schools (District) is requesting proposals for the resurfacing of gym floors at identified buildings.
