Renovation of an educational facility in Conway, Arkansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

The rebuilding of the damaged building includes the following: Repainting of all classrooms, lecture halls, corridors - matching existing conditions New ceiling grid and acoustical tile in all classrooms, lecture halls, corridors - matching existing conditions Removal and replacement of millwork Replacement of all carpet, floor base Replace ceramic tile in restrooms Redesign and replacement of existing fire suppression system Replacement of CRAC unit, AHU, Fresh Air Units, FCUs, Boilers, Ductwork, and mechanical insulation (ductwork & hydronics), all air devices, and HVAC controls Replacement of all plumbing fixtures, water heaters, pumps, and plumbing insulation Replacement of main gear, panelboards, transformers, disconnects, circuit protection Replacement of light fixtures (LED), basic lighting controls, electrical devices (device and cover plates), and fire alarm system Add ground wires to electrical as needed to bring up to current code Bring building up to current ADA requirements as determined by architect Interviews for those selected are anticipated to be held on September 29-30, 2022. REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS- Written responses shall include, but are not limited to, the following information in bound and tabbed 8 1/2 x 11 format: 1. Current Arkansas contractor's license and licensure of any trades. 2. Provide general information about the firm's personnel resources, including the classification and numbers of employees and the location and staffing of offices. 3. Provide qualifications and experience in the rebuilding fire damaged buildings. 4. Documentation of the management firm/contractor's record in the timely completion of similar type projects while maintaining high quality workmanship and staying within budget parameters. 5. References from architects and owners from previous projects. 6. Experience with the "negotiated work" alternative delivery method of contracting. 7. Description of the GC's project management approach. 8. Form of ownership, including state of residency or incorporation. 9. Current maximum bonding capacity and rate (provide letter from bonding company stating ability to bond the project). Ability and the extent of financial resources available to commit to and carry out these projects. 10. A statement and/or documentation showing compliance with the department's (ADEQ) storm water construction permit requirements, and narrative detailing GC's approach to pollution prevention measures taken at construction sites. 11. Statement of experience with Building Information Modeling "BIM". 12. Provide experience of a plan to do business with Minority owned subcontractors or joint ventures with Minority owned companies to assist UCA with the implementation of Act 1222 of 2009.
