Site work for a power facility in Lincoln, Nebraska. Conceptual plans call for site work for a power facility.
Replace the existing 115-12kV, 28 MVA transformer (T561) with a new 36 MVA transformer and 12kV switchgear. Transformer T561 was manufactured in 1972, will be 54 years old in 2026. This project provides replacement of older 115-12kV transformers in accordance with the Substation Transformer Replacement Study. It will also provide additional capacity at the 56th & Everett Substation. This project is included in the city's 2023-2028 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of September 5, 2022, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
