As of October 27,2022, this project was awarded to Pinnacle Computer Services of Evansville, IN, for $54,621.81. Locations involved: Administrative Office, 111 5th St. Henderson KY 42420, System Operations Center (Old), 230 North Alvasia St. Henderson, KY 42420, System Operations Center (New), 1383 Commonwealth Drive, Henderson, KY 42420 HWU is remodeling an existing building at 1383 Commonwealth Drive in Henderson, KY. This building will be our main office and house employees and material currently located at the Administration Building and the old Systems Operations Center. While we have a tentative timeline, the actual completion date will become more accurate within the next 2 months. Some new IT equipment will be purchased for this location, and some will be moved from the existing sites. IT equipment installation and configuration must be performed by technicians authorized by the respective manufacturers. The vendor must inspect the current configuration and plan the installation/configuration of new equipment to work seamlessly with existing hardware and configuration. The vendor will be responsible for creating the necessary VLANs on new Juniper switches to interoperate with current Juniper switches. The camera and WiFi equipment will be installed by our electrician; however, the winning bidder will be responsible for configuring the systems. HWU will require server room equipment moving services. HWU will allot an 8-hour downtime window on a Saturday for the move. During this time, all server/network equipment currently installed at the Administration Building must be labeled, un racked, packed, transported to the new facility, and re-installed. The estimated move-in date is in could be as soon as early January. Hardware components to be moved from 111 5th St. to 1383 Commonwealth Dr.:3 rack mounted server, 3 storage area network devices, 2 controllers, 4 interruptible power supplies, 3 switches 1 Avaya phone switch The vendor will have adequate resources onsite on the business day after the move-in date. A qualified technician must be onsite to supervise the move and perform power-up operations and testing. The winning bidder will be responsible for all required moving materials, including, but not limited to, moving truck/van, and packing materials as needed.
