Site work and new construction of a pre-engineered storage facility in Sargent, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a pre-engineered storage facility; and for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility.
General Contractors shall provide a bid bond of 2% of total base bid and provide insurance. The District reserves the right to waive any informalities or minor defects and to reject any or all bids. The District reserves the right to accept the most advantageous bid, to be determined in District’s judgment. The successful bidder will be required to provide payment and performance bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract price. The District may not accept a bid until it has received from the bidder a completed and signed TEC Form 1295 complete with a certificate number assigned by the Texas Ethics Commission pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 2252.908 and the rules promulgated thereunder by the TEC. Failure to provide said form complete with a certificate number assigned by the TEC will result in a non-conforming bid and will prohibit the District from considering this bid for acceptance. To complete and submit Form 1295 and generate the Certificate of Filing, please visit the Texas Ethics Commission’s website. This requirement does not apply if the bidder qualifies for an exception under Texas Government Code 2252.908.
