Overhead Door Preventative Maintenance and Repair Services The cut-off date and time for receiving questions regarding this quote is 5:00 pm PST, on Wednesday, September 14, 2022. All inquiries must be made in writing and may be submitted to the email address Michelle Kempley, Senior Buyer mkempley@cityofredding.org The bidder shall provide the original (unbound) and one (1) copy of the quote. Fax or electronic submission of proposals will not be allowed. The quotation package may be obtained from the Purchasing Division by emailing the contact below. The City will award any resulting contract in a manner consistent with the City's Purchasing Ordinance. Bid Security - Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check drawn on a bank authorized to do business in the State of California, payable at sight to the City of Redding in an amount equal to or not less than ten percent of the bid proposal cost. Should the bidder choose to furnish a bid bond in lieu of a certified check, he shall execute the form of "Bid Bond" attached to the documents. The said bond shall be secured from a responsible surety able to issue coverage in California. To verify if your surety is admitted to issue coverage in California, please check with the California Department of Insurance. The said check or bond shall be given as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a Contract, if awarded to him, within thirty (30) calendar days. The term of this Contract is for a one (1) year period, from November 1, 2022 through October 31, 2023. If mutually agreeable, with all prices, terms and conditions remaining the same, the contract may be renewed for two consecutive one (1) year periods, through October 31, 2025. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive minor irregularities.
