The City of Richmond is accepting bids for the construction of the Richmond Signal System Phase IV UPC 118148 project to provide general contracting services that include, but are not limited to fiber optic and wireless communications systems, installation of conduit and junction boxes, installation of traffic signal cabinets, site work, concrete work, asphalt work, and other associated improvements. For contracts with a value of less than one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000), the Contractor will not be required to provide a Performance Bond or a Labor and Material Payment Bond asdescribed above unless the Invitation for Bids states that such bonds will be required. If the Invitation for Bids specifies that the Contractor is required to provide a Performance Bond or aLabor and Material Payment Bond, or both, the Contractor shall pay the cost thereof. The project will attain a minimum of 6.0% or more participation by Disadvantaged Business Enterprises, (DBE).
