This solicitation is for professional services to provide General Traffic Engineering Consultant services to the Authority for a five-year term. The Scope of Service to be performed by the General Traffic Engineering Consultant under this Order for Professional Services (OPS) shall include Core Services and On-Call Services. Core Services shall include expert traffic engineering consultation, traffic studies and short- and long-term traffic and revenue projections and analyses for the Authority, in addition to all other related services required of the Traffic Engineers by the New Jersey Turnpike Authority General Bond Resolution. On-Call services shall include performing, upon request, project specific tasks involving traffic studies, toll and traffic revenue forecasting, economic analyses, and oversight of other consultants performing transportation planning and traffic engineering studies. The deadline for inquiries is September 9, 2022. The Authority will respond to all written inquiries received. Each inquiry will be stated, and a written response provided. Responses will be posted on the Authoritys website under Doing Business, Current Solicitations on or before September 13, 2022. Consultants will be responsible for submitting their EOIs in accordance with the RFEOI and any modifications, revisions and/or clarifications thereto as a result of the posted responses. Late inquiries may not be reviewed or considered. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
