Site work and new construction of a playground / park / athletic field in Indianola, Iowa. Completed plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
Lake Ahquabi is undergoing an extensive renovation of the entire Park and this project will add a restroom for the Beach at the existing Concession Building. Four new family-style restroom stalls will be added to the existing concession building. A new shower tower will be installed adjacent to this building. At the historic Beach Shelter, the restroom will be remodeled to make it more functional for the shelter patrons. The historic structure will also undergo a restoration, rotten beams and purlins will be replaced, and all wood stained, while stone will be carefully cleaned. New lights will be installed in the shelter and site lighting will also be replaced. Also, a new ADA kayak launch will be installed by the contractor an existing dock.
