Site work for a water / sewer project in Merced, California. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The City of Merced, Engineering Department, is seeking proposals for potholing utility lines. Potholing to locate utility lines along R st, from Olive ave to Northwood Dr (see attached location map). Provide a unit cost per pot hole and a total cost. Unit cost shall include insurance, public convenience and safety, permits, restoration, and all other overhead costs. Contractor shall procure an encroachment permit from the City (no fee), and provide a TCP to the City. estimated. number of potholes is 38, the actual number may change. Consultant shall, within fifteen (15) days of contract award and before performance of the work, file a Performance Bond, with and approved by the City, in the amount of 100 percent (100%) of the contract price. The Performance Bond shall remain in effect until recordation of the Notice of Completion, or if a Notice of Completion is not recorded by the City, for sixty (60) days after completion of the work. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
