As of 09/30/2022 Olson Brothers construction won the bid for the high landing culvert and Tyler’s Excavating won the bed for the Danielson culvert for $7500. Start date will depend on when they can secure the required culvert could possibly be next spring As of 09/07/2022 Estimates are $35,000 for Highlanding and $18,000 for Danielson Culvert replacement on High Landing Road over a tributary to the Bois Brule River. Contractor to replace a 60" x 80' culvert with HDPE pipe. The outlet of this culvert is significantly perched above the streambed so to reduce scour and erosion at the outlet, additional riprap to armor the downstream channel is required by the DNR. This tributary flows into the Brule River which is a trout stream. If there is flow in the tributary at the culvert, the replacement work cannot take place between September 15th and May 15th. Culvert replacement on Danielson Rd over a tributary to Fisher Creek. Contractor to replace a 42" x 60' culvert with HDPE pipe. Fisher Creek is a warm water stream therefore work cannot take place between March 1st and June 15th. Permit coverage has already been secured from the WDNR under the Wetland and Waterway General Permit. All Best Management Practices for working in Navigable waterways must be followed. Replacement projects must also meet all WIS DOT specifications for backfill and riprap placement.
