Renovation of a multi-residential development in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
Cambridge Housing Authority invites sealed bids for Window System Replacement at 45 Linnaean Street in Cambridge, Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents prepared by BWA Architecture. The work is estimated to cost $80,000. The project consists of: Replacement of a window system and associated components thereof above the entryway of a 20 unit residential building. All bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 44A-J and to minimum wage rates as required by the Secretary of Labor pursuant to the Davis-Bacon Act and included in the project specifications. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit not less than five percent (5%) of the bid amount, and made payable to Cambridge Housing Authority. A 50% payment bond and will be required for the awarded contract. A performance bond will not be required. No interpretations of the meaning of the plans, specifications or other pre-bid documents shall be made to any bidder. Every request must be in writing. Questions concerning this project shall be submitted via email to Taulant Miloshi of BWA Architecture at tmiloshi@bwaboston.com. Deadline for bidder questions shall be Friday September 16, 2022 at 12:00PM. Questions received after the deadline may not be considered by the Awarding Authority.
