Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Lynn, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for paving for a playground / park / athletic field; road / highway; and road / highway.
Barry Park Improvements (including bleacher removal and streetscape improvements) The City of Lynn invites bids from qualified contractors for the following work at Barry Park in the area of Waterford Street. The scope of the project includes removal of the existing dilapidated concrete bleachers, and subsequent streetscape improvements. There will also be new or reconditioned paving, and other amenities, new tree and shrub plantings and lawn areas and regrading for accessible access as well as other related work. Work is to begin immediately upon Notice to Proceed and must be substantially complete by May 20, 2023. Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.30, 39M and to the minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L.c.149 26 - 27H and the Davis Bacon Act. Bid must be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the total bid price, including all alternates, in the form of certified check, cashier's check or bid bond payable to the City of Lynn. The City of Lynn reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all bids or any part thereof and make award as may appear in the best interest of the City. Purchasing Agent will prepare the notice of award and this contract Bid under M.G.L. c.30, 39M
