Site work, remodeling and renovation of a mixed-use development in Dupont, Washington. Completed plans call for the expansion of a military facility and water / sewer project.

The Contractor shall supply all supervision, labor, equipment, and materials to perform all work in strict accordance with the umbrella contract specifications, this Statement of Work, and identified drawings to provide repair of storm drain outfalls at McChord including rehabilitation of oil water separators, replacement of pipelines and cleaning and other maintenance activity at outfalls to Clover Creek Construction Period 365 calendar days 1.4.1. Base Construction Deliverable (Covered under one IJO MDH150115) 1.4.1.1. Base Item CLIN 0001. Repair McChord Outfalls. 1. Repair following outfalls as Refer to Attachment 1 – Outfall Drawings for Location and Repair Details. J001- Remove sediment and vegetation from outfall. If rain is anticipated, Best Management Practice (BMP) C207: Check dams or C235: Wattles should be staked along the contour of the ditch to minimize discharge to the creek. Conduct turbidity monitoring of any discharge from the location and implement necessary BMPs to maintain limits below 25 NTU. b. J002- Oil/Water Separator- Clean vault, replace grate and replace Extract oil, sludge, and wash water from vault by vactoring and dispose appropriately. c. J003- Reattach steel grate. To reduce impacts to the creek, implement BMP C101: Preserving natural vegetation to minimize soil disturbance. J007- Oil/Water Separator- Remove sediment and vegetation from Clean vault and replace media. Cap outfall or implement applicable BMPs to prevent discharge to the creek during OWS cleaning. Sediment and wash water must be captured and disposed of appropriately. iii. Implement BMP C101: Preserving natural vegetation to minimize impacts to native shrubs and trees on creek bank J009A- Replace damaged tide valve with new 48” tide valve to match existing. To prevent creek flow interacting with the OWS vault, cap outlet pipe prior to vault clean out and replacement of media. Depending on seasonal creek levels, implementation of a turbidity curtain, coffer dam, wattles, sand bags, or creek dewatering is necessary at this location. iii. In stream monitoring, the turbidity effluent limit of 25 NTU is recommended at this location. J015- Replace 90 feet of 12 inch diameter pipe. Depending on seasonal creek levels, implementation of a turbidity curtain, coffer dam, wattles, sand bags, or creek dewatering is necessary at this location. If rain is anticipated, divert stormwater from the inlet and implement BMPs (e.g., wattles or erosion blankets) along the creek bank to minimize erosion. iii. For replacement of pipe, ensure sediment, discharge and other construction debris does not intrude into the creek. Ensure turbidity monitoring and turbidity curtains are installed prior to any in water work. Turbidity monitoring shall be in accordance with the Construction General Permit (CGP) and WA Construction General Permit S.4. Total estimated soil disturbance for the entire project triggers CGP coverage at 1 acre. Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan is required at 5,000 square feet soil disturbance. 1. At a minimum, all outfalls must be provided with a rock splash Provide stabilization, including armoring material, adequate to prevent erosion of outlets, adjacent stream banks, slopes and downstream reaches at the outlets of all conveyance systems in accordance with BMP C209: Outlet Protection. g. J016- Remove sediment and vegetation from Install riprap for outlet protection. Implement BMP C101: Preserving natural vegetation to minimize impacts to native shrubs and trees on creek bank. Sediment and wash water must be captured and disposed of appropriately. iii. Conduct turbidity monitoring of any stormwater discharge from the location, and implement necessary BMPs to maintain limits below 25 NTU. h. J017A- Remove sediment and vegetation from outfall. Work is conducted on the bypass pipe, assessment for the implementation of a turbidity curtain, coffer dam, wattles, sand bags, and creek dewatering is be necessary at this location. In stream monitoring, the turbidity effluent limit is 25 NTU. iii. If rain is anticipated, implement BMPs (e.g., wattles or erosion blankets) along the creek bank to minimize erosion. J023- Oil/Water Separator- Remove sediment and vegetation from outfall. Clean vault and replace media. Extract oil, sludge, and wash water from vault by vactoring and dispose of appropriately. ii. Cap outfall or implement applicable BMPs to prevent discharge to the creek during OWS cleaning. J025- Replace 24” flap gate to match existing. To reduce impacts to the creek, implement BMP C101: Preserving natural vegetation to minimize soil disturbance. k. J029- Remove sediment and vegetation from Implement BMP C101: Preserving natural vegetation to minimize impacts to native shrubs and trees on creek bank. Sediment and wash water must be captured and disposed of appropriately. iii. Conduct turbidity monitoring of any stormwater discharge from the location, and implement necessary BMPs to maintain limits below 25 NTU. J033- Remove/abandon Oil/Water Separator in place, no replacement. Implement BMP C101: Preserving natural vegetation to minimize impacts to native shrubs and trees on creek bank. J035- Oil/Water Separator- Clean vault and replace media. Extract oil, sludge, and wash water from vault by vactoring and dispose of appropriately. ii. Cap outfall or implement applicable BMPs to prevent discharge to the creek during OWS cleaning. iii. Conduct turbidity monitoring of any stormwater discharge from the location, and implement necessary BMPs to maintain limits below 25 NTU. The Contractor is required to commence work under this Task Order within ten (10) calendar days after the date of issuance of the Notice to Proceed (NTP) for the Base Item(s), prosecute the work diligently, and complete all work on all Base Item(s) no later than 365 calendar days
