CBRE Limited (CBRE) is issuing this announcement to serve as notification of our upcoming Request for Proposal (RFP) for Infrastructure Ontario (IO) for Roof Inspection Services. The purpose of the RFP is to engage service provider(s) that is/are able to provide inspections and data to support condition-based monitoring to evaluate roofing system conditions utilizing visual, applicable mechanical testing and infrared scanning. This data can be used to evaluate the remaining life of a roof and provide recommendations for early intervention for maintenance and repairs that can proactively increase the life cycle and avoid failures. These services can provide trends and data for roof system analysis driving life cycle extension and early intervention that can extend the roof's life cycle. Mitigating failures through proactive maintenance, such as early identification of water infiltrating the insulation, membrane damage due to weather, ballast shifting, flashing damage, water ponding, roof penetration condition, etc. Your company will have the opportunity to provide services to approximately 153 buildings (can be less or more) for a period of multiple years. INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS The successful Proponents will be required to provide a Comprehensive General Liability Insurance Certificate in the amount of $5 million to CBRE within ten (10) days of Award Notification for the provision of the services. CBRE also requires additional umbrella coverage of $5 million.
