Renovation of a municipal facility in Dalton, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
For Alterations to the Dalton Town Hall. Town Hall Renovation includes asbestos abatement; ceiling work including sheet rock, replacing tiles, electrical, lighting, smoke detectors, etc.; insulation installation. Furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals required to complete the Alterations to the Dalton Town Hall for the Town of Dalton, 462 Main Street, Dalton, Massachusetts. 1. Work under this phase of the Project will be limited to the Opera House, Opera House Balcony, first floor Town Offices and Alternate work in the Building Inspectors and Historic Offices as shown on the Drawings. 2. Relocating of electric, fire alarm, communication and data wiring from on top of existing light gauge framing to within or below existing light gauge framing as required for installation of GWB, vapor barrier and cellulose insulation. 3. Installation of new plywood sub-structure on existing wood joist framing at Opera House Balcony floor. 4. Installation of reinforced poly vapor barrier and furring strips to support blown in cellulose and for attachment of GWB ceilings. 5. Resilient wall furring for wall insulation and GWB attachment. 6. GWB walls at Balcony demising wall as well as required under Alternates. 7. Installation of new light fixtures where indicated on the drawings. 8. Installation of new flex ducts to connect to ex. Metal duct exhaust ducts or to vent first floor rooms through exterior walls/windows as indicated.
