Renovation of a transportation facility in Appleton, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
As of September 5, 2023, project was awarded to RJM Construction, awarded amount is $737,509.20. The Appleton International Airport (ATW) is seeking bids for the conversion of existing hangar doors to a lift strap conversion system. There are 43 total hangar doors for the conversion. This will be the base bid for the project. There will be one alternate for the project, which would be to replace door components versus the lift strap conversion. You may bid both the base bid and the alternate or just one component. There are 43 hangar doors for the project with the following dimension: Qty 19 - 41' x 12' bi-fold doors Qty 7 - 60' x 12' bi-fold doors Qty 1 - 48' x 12' bi-fold doors Qty 16 - 41' x 12' bi-fold doors Reference the exhibit showing the hangar layout. A contract will be issued by end of day July 28, 2023. The Contractor shall achieve substantial completion by 2:00 pm CT December 20, 2023. Failure to complete in this timeframe will result in a $250.00 per calendar day liquidated damages penalty. Outagamie County has the sole discretion and reserves the right to cancel this bid and to reject any and all bids received prior to award, to waive any or all informalities and or irregularities, or to re-advertise with either an identical or revised specification. Outagamie County reserves the right to request clarifications for any bid.
