The City of Auburn (Auburn, NY), is seeking contractors/supplier quotations for the 2022 Tree Program for the fall planting season. The City of Auburn will accept quotations for the following: tree supplier, tree supplier/installer and tree installer. A list will be provided of Shade and Street Tree Variety Name (feel free to add to list), please provide Size, Form, Quantity Available, Pricing for the following: Bare Root Tree Supplied; Pricing for Balled and Burlap Tree Supplied; Bare Root Tree Supplied and Installed; Balled and Burlap Tree Supplied and Installed; Installation of City Supplied Bare Root Tree only; Installation of City Supplied Balled and Burlap Tree. It is anticipated that the City of Auburn will be purchasing a minimum of 80 bare root trees, and 100 balled and burlap trees this fall. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids. Attention of bidders providing tree planting services is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and prevailing wage rates to be paid under the contract. The Owner is exempt from the payment of sales and compensating use taxes of the State of New York and of cities and counties on all materials, equipment and supplies sold to the Owner pursuant to this Contract. Also exempt from such taxes are purchases by the Contractor and his Subcontractors of materials, equipment, and supplies to be sold to the Owner pursuant to this Contract, including tangible personal property to be incorporated in any structure, building, or other real property forming part of the Project. These taxes are not to be included in the Bid. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 45 days after the actual date of opening thereof.
