Site work and paving for a civil project in Wheaton, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
Construction of 0.4 miles of limestone and asphalt trail, miscellaneous utility and earthwork, traffic signal modifications, and site restoration. Questions shall be directed to Matt Adams at madams@dupageforest.org. The bids must be accompanied by a bid security. All bids must be received prior to the date and time shown above. No late bids will be accepted. This project is subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, 820 ILCS 130/0.01 et seq. The contractor shall also abide by the employment of Illinois Workers on Public Works Act (30 ILCS 570, sec 1-7). Consideration of contract award will likely be made on October 18th, 2022. Minority business firms are encouraged to submit bids on the project and successful contract bidders are encouraged to utilize minority businesses as subcontractors for supplies, equipment, services and construction. The Forest Preserve Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities.
