The Alcona Reservoir currently is a two cell reservoir, which supplies water to the Alcona system, supplies water to Bradford and supplies water to Town campus. Existing equipment at the Reservoir is aging and is scheduled to be replaced or upgraded as part of the Alcona Reservoir upgrade project. The location of the Alcona Reservoir property is 1610 Innisfil Beach Road located approximately 400m west of 20th sideroad and the GO train tracks in the Town of Innisfil. InnServices is requiring a General Contractor to select a team that consists of a Concrete Contractor, Mechanical Contractor, Electrical Contractor, Civil Contractor and QP-C (Qualified Person for the Contractor as per Ontario Regulation 153/04) which will undertake the Construction of the Alcona Reservoir upgrades. The GC shall use the same Team and subs for the Tender/Construction as they submitted with this RFSQ. General Contractor to provide proof of bonding capability for a project value range of Fourteen Million Dollars ($14,000,000.00) to Eighteen Million Dollars ($18,000,000.00) for 100% Performance and 100% Labour and Material. May 1, 2025 to August 1, 2029 - Construction of the new reservoir cell, new Booster pumping station, new site works and decommission works for substantial performance and 1 year maintenance. Non peak periods from 2028 to 2029 - Replacement of existing valves and various equipment for the existing Alcona Reservoir during non peak flow periods after all new works are commissioned. Works may extend into two non peak periods depending on schedule.
