Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Springfield, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The Project consists of construction of approximately 1.238 miles of 2-lane boulevard on a new alignment. The project includes the following work: Grading, Drainage, Curb, Paving, Signage and Pavement Marking, Utilities, and Retaining Walls. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. A Prime Contractor must prequalify with the Department of Transportation in accordance with Section 54-5-117 of the "Tennessee Code Annotated" and Tennessee Department of Transportation Rule 1680- 5-3 prequalification of contractors before biddable proposals will be furnished. No Bids will be received or accepted after the above-specified time for the opening of Bids. Bids submitted after the designated hour will be deemed invalid and returned unopened to the Bidder. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The City of Springfield reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
