The Landscape Maintenance - Parcel 3 Berm provides landscape maintenance services including but not limited to the procurement/installation of replacement plantings, invasive species management, mowing of erosion control areas and the inspection of fencing, irrigation systems, topsoil and bark mulch conditions. Questions and clarifications regarding this proposal are due in writing via the Port of Vancouver by Thursday, September 15, 2022, at 10:00 AM. The Port of Vancouver in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, nondiscrimination in federally assisted programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises as defined at 49 CFR Part 26 will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin, or sex in consideration for an award. The Port of Vancouver reserves the right to cancel this invitation or reject any and all bids submitted or to waive any minor formalities of this call if, in the judgment of the Port Commissioners, the best interests of the Port would be served. No bidder may withdraw his/her bid after the hour set for the opening thereof, unless the award of contract is delayed for a period exceeding sixty (60) days. If it is determined to be in the best interests of the Port, the Port reserves the right to request an extension of bid prices during the review process. The estimated cost of the project is $507,250 - $560,500
