As of September 18, 2024, per owner, project was Rebid. Engineer has been identified. The Town of Front Royal invites the submission of sealed proposals from qualified firms capable of satisfying the Towns needs for Engineering Services for 8th Street Bridge, in accordance with the enclosed scope of services and terms. The intent and purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP), and the resulting contract, is to obtain the services of a qualified engineering firm to provide engineering services for the replacement of the 8 th Street Bridge. Any proposal received after the announced time and date of the submittal deadline will not be considered. Fax or email submittals will not be accepted. There will be no pre-proposal meeting. Any interested Offerors may contact the Department of Public Works, for information regarding the bridge, in writing, no later than five (5) business days before the due date. Revisions to the solicitation will only be made by addendum. The awarding authority for this contract is the Town of Front Royal. It is understood and agreed that the contract generated from this Proposal shall be subject to annual appropriations by the Town of Front Royal Town Council. Should the Council fail to appropriate funds for the contract, the contract will be terminated when funds are exhausted. There shall be no penalty should the Council fail to make annual appropriations for the contract. The Town of Front Royal reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals; to waive informalities; to negotiate with the most qualified Offeror; and to award the project as deemed in its judgment to be in the best interest of the Town of Front Royal.
