Renovation of a water / sewer project in Cottonwood, California. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The Otay Water District (District) will require services of a civil engineering consulting firm to provide professional design services in support of the of the Cottonwood Sewage Pump Station (SPS) Replacement Project. The project will involve the replacement of the existing 380 gpm lift station with a new updated and increased capacity facility in general compliance with the Water Agencies Standards (WAS) planning and design guidelines. The services may include, but not be limited to, the following engineering tasks: preliminary design report preparation, surveying, hydraulic calculations, construction contract documents preparation, investigation of existing conditions and facilities, bidding assistance, and construction support. In compliance with SB 854, all Consultants and Sub-Consultants shall be registered with the CA Department of Industrial Relations (DIR). Submissions from consultants not registered with the DIR will be considered unresponsive. Q & A deadline: Sep 22, 2022 8:00:00 PM EDT All questions regarding the consulting services should be referred to Stephen Beppler, P.E., Project Manager at steve.beppler@otaywater.gov, or at (619) 670-2209, prior to issuance of the RFP. After the RFP is issued, all questions will be addressed via RFP addenda.
