Contractor is to wire and install smoke/carbon detector in each bedroom. Restoration of the damaged dwelling unit located in the Turner Terrace community will occur in a series of steps. o Abatement of asbestos containing floor tile and mastic. Contractor responsible for the appropriate removal, disposal and debris clean-up. o Abatement of mold containing sheetrock. Contractor responsible for the appropriate removal, disposal and debris clean-up. o Removal of attic blown insulation (to be replaced) o Removal of existing cast iron tub that contains LEAD paint. Contractor responsible for the appropriate removal, disposal and debris clean-up. o Replacement of all in wall domestic water and waste piping. o Removal and Replacement of HVAC System including installation of new attic supply air distribution duct system. o Clean with pressure/chemical spay o Treat wood studs, trusses, exposed roof and exposed roof sheathing with a Mold Sealant o Caulking Requirements: caulking to be provided in the following locations: Exterior: 1. Joints at door frame and window frame, and other materials. Joints at wood trim. 2. Joints between new dissimilar materials. 3. Joints at new mechanical and electrical penetrations.
