Contract 2022-01 $1,550,000 Contract 2022-02 $700,000 Contract 2022-03 $12,000 Clarification Deadline 9/27/2022 4:00 PM A certified check or bid bond for the amount of 10% of the total bid shall be required. Bonds are to be issued by a surety licensed to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Bids shall remain open for a period of 60 days from the date of Bid opening unless award is delayed by a required approval from a governmental agency, the sale of bonds, or the award of a grant or grants, in which event the Bids shall remain open for a period of 120 days from the date of Bid opening. Bids may not be withdrawn during this period. See Instructions to Bidders for other provisions on the time available for acceptance of Bids. All Bidders must bid on all items listed on the Bid Form. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish performance and payment bonds in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price. This contract is subject to the following: the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act conditions; the Federal Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 (OSHA) conditions; the Pennsylvania Act 229 of 2002; the Pennsylvania One Call Act, also known as the Underground Utility Line Protection Law, Act 287 of 1974, as amended; the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act 222 Conditions; and the non-discrimination in Employment/Contract Compliance Regulations Conditions. Modification of Existing Digester Gas Piping d. Modification of Existing Air System for Biogas Covers 2. Contract 2022-02 a. Demolition of existing Thermophilic Digester, Roof and select Components b. Modification of existing concrete foundation c. Construction of a new stainless steel Thermophilic Digester with roofing, appurtenances, insulation and coating system 3. Contract 2022-03 a. Removal and reinstallation of various instruments and electrical connections at the various Thermophilic and Mesophilic Digesters to facilitate construction by Contract 2022-01 and 2022-02.
