From Contractors for the Street Scape Project - 92 South Clayton Street @ Nash Street for the Engineering Department. The work to be performed by the General Contractor consist of but is not limited to the following major items: This project consists of streetscape improvements on 92 South Clayton Street @ Nash Street. Demolition of curb & gutter, driveway apron, sidewalks & ADA Ramps. Removal of trees. Relocation of fire hydrant & valve box. Installation of granite sitting wall, brick & mortar work, installation of benches, pedestrian lights, new curb & gutter, new sidewalk, new ADA ramps, brick pavers, landscaping, and irrigation. Cleanup. Remove all waste from the site. All work shall comply with all Federal, State, and local requirements and specifications. The latest GDOT Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction of the Georgia Department of Transportation shall govern the construction of this project. Bids in the case of Corporations not chartered in Georgia must be accompanied by a proper certification stating that said Corporation is authorized to do business in the State of Georgia. No Bidder may withdraw his Bid within ninety (90) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The successful contractor will be required to provide a one hundred percent (100%) payment and one hundred percent (100%) performance bond as well as an insurance certificate fulfilling requirements as stated in the bid documents. Surety and insurance companies must have an AM Best rating of A-5 or greater, be listed in the Federal Registry of Companies holding a Certificate of Authority and acceptable sureties on Federal Bonds, and be licensed by the Georgia Insurance Department and the Georgia Secretary of State to do business in the State of Georgia. No Bid Bond is required. All bonds must be submitted on forms provided by the City of Lawrenceville and agencies providing bonds and insurance should provide proof that they meet the criteria outlined in the bid and contract documents.
