Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Pine Knoll Shores, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; museum; and museum.
Architectural services associated with exterior repairs, painting, and sealing of building elements at the Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores. Including, but not limited to: Existing siding in several locations around main building is deteriorating. Removal of existing siding and repair walls as needed. Install or replace insulation if applicable. Replace siding with fibre cement board. Exterior Timber Frame, wood deck, rails, and wood bridge receive heavy use and are exposed to the elements in a marine environment. All exterior wood is faded and dirty. Wood needs cleaning and sealing maintenance. Clean all exterior wood components. Repair where needed. Apply sealant to all exterior wood components. Apply stain as required or desired by owner. Clean painted surfaces, repair siding and trim as needed, prime and paint with long lasting paint or coatings suitable for marine environment. The Shop Building paint on exterior of building faded and aged from exposure of the marine environment and needs to be repainted. In order to offer architectural, engineering, or landscape architectural services in response to this solicitation, the proposing firm must be properly licensed to practice Architecture, Engineering, or Landscape Architecture in the State of North Carolina.
