Bay & St. Francis Drainage District #29 of Craighead County, Arkansas from County Road 672, connecting to the end of the recent clearing project, the North to County Road 986, 1 mile north of Hwy 18. Estimated 5 miles, but exact mileage to be determined by bidders. Work to be done on both sides of the ditch, with clearing of brush and trees, and removal of silt and other obstructions down to the original depth and width of ditch. This clearing and depositing of soil to be within 12 feet of top of bank. Any tree on back exceeding 6 inches diameter shall be cut at ground level, and root wad left in place for stability. Where this 12 foot area is now used for crops or farm road, the soil shall be leveled and made passable. Woody growth shall be piled and either buried or burned. Arkansas license required.
