Renovation of a municipal facility in Lansing, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Work to be performed under these Contract Documents is to improve filter operations and reliability by installing a new filter control system and replacing outdated equipment. The new control system includes expanding the Emerson Ovation Distributed Control System (DCS) to allow control of each filter from the existing Ovation workstations, relocation of hydraulic controls from inside the control cabinet to the pipe gallery, replacement of outdated bubbler system with a new more standard redundant radar level control system, conversion of the current "fail close" effluent control valves pneumatic actuator with "fail in place" electric actuators and controls, and other miscellaneous equipment.
