This project consists of specific repairs, in addition to design, procurement and professional installation of playground equipment, safety surfacing, and amenities at the following sites: A. Pleasant Hill Elementary (4346 N.E. 36th, Oklahoma City, OK 73121) B. Del City Elementary (2400 Epperly Dr., Del City, OK 73115) C. Midwest City Elementary (2211 S. Midwest Blvd., Midwest City, OK 73110) D. Soldier Creek Elementary (9021 S.E. 15th, Midwest City, OK 73110) Mid-Del Public Schools is soliciting sealed proposals for projects of $25,000.00 or greater to design, procure, and professionally install playground equipment, amenities, and safety surfacing at Pleasant Hill Elementary, Del City Elementary, Midwest City Elementary and Soldier Creek Elementary. This solicitation is pursuant to Board of Education Policy D-5, attached, and requires that all equipment and materials meet or exceed all current federal CPSC, ASTM, IPEMA, and ADA standards for children aged pre-k through 5th grade. Equipment and surfacing must also be manufactured in the U.S.A. All bids must include the costs of the equipment, safety surfacing, and complete professional installation, as well as all delivery charges and applied discounts. Additionally, all bid proposals must contain detailed 3-D and top view drawings from the manufacturer, in addition to detailed equipment warranties. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and all proposals made pursuant to this request; negotiate modifications in the terms of proposal; to solicit proposals from additional vendors; to award the contract to other than the lowest vendor; and to delay or cancel award of contract. In the event proposals are considered to be unacceptable, Mid- Del Public Schools reserves the right to reject the proposals or negotiate the proposals with any or all qualified prospective vendors.
